great game

I managed to break the game. After losing on the first playthrough, I started a new game, and somehow the villagers never went away at night, and enemies never spawned. With infinite villagers and no enemies I won with maximum upgrades and no fighting.

Thanks for the bug report, I'm indeed working on it ;)

Hey Mathieu Schmerber thanks for your submission I was really impressed initially by the art style, the animations and it's implementation, this accompanied by the different day and night soundtracks really helps set a tone. The fundamental theme of each day is a new beginning is a strong hit for the theme of the Jam. With the controls being pretty simple I could see this being a successful and intuitive mobile game.

Through my plays I didn't encounter any major bugs but found that the 'Holy Cow' (Ally)'s AI sometimes felt hit and miss i found on a few occasions he'd just run or chase something out of the map. I would also be interested to some more CC (Crowd Control) abilities added like a knockback/push and have an Endless Mode added.

Overall I think this was a very successful submission with a lot of polish, it would be interesting to see what you would do with more time spent, great job!

Thanks a lot for your feedback, I'm definitely thinking of producing a mobile version out of this !

I liked the animations. was the game made with spry tiles? we made a 2.5D game as well, just curious :)

Hey, I'm happy you enjoyed the art :)

I did not use any external tool other than the Unity engine to create this game. But I also didn't know a thing about sprytiles, seems like a great tool that I could use if I wanted to make this JAM game into a bigger project !

Hey man! The game was absolutely great especially the art and sounds, love it!

But there is a huge bug I found. I played the game for the first time and it went good, I died on night 2 (lol), then I went to the main menu and started again, this time the villagers didn't go in their houses at night and kept spawning. The demons didn't spawn either. Here are some images

I tried another time but the problem persists. The first time works perfectly tho.

Thanks for the bug report, it will be fixed as soon as the JAM vote deadline is over :)

nice job doing the art part, it's quite PIXEL ! ^^

very fun to play

haha - amazing art, however the right wall in the game has no collisions

lmao how did I forget a wall, I mean it's not detrimental to the gameplay but I'll fix it when I'm able to.

I'm glad you liked it

Very fun game : p

But on my second  play, the villagers didn't return to their home and opponents don't spawn when it is night.

I'm glad you had fun :)

This is indeed a known issue, however I'm unable to fix it right now as this is a JAM submission. I'll definitely get to the task when I can !

Love the game. Love the art style. Not so sure about the ethics.

Thanks I definitely tried my best drawing and animating the slaughter, ethics uh
